Aspiring Arches

In November 1999, with colleague Jae Maries, I completed a large stitched Millennium wall-hanging for Ashridge, a Management Development Centre in Hertfordshire. ‘ASPIRING ARCHES’ depicts historical features of the college and hangs in the main entrance hall. An interesting feature of the project is the decorative border which has been worked by members of staff, past and present. As designers and consultants, Jae and I ran training weekends, teaching the skills necessary for the project.
